Residential Drafting
As a licenced builder the QBCC entitles you to design your own residential building and as a drafter with six years of structural expereince, I can prepare neat and tidy, computer plans. I can also prepare a framing design that you can check yourself and have checked by an engineer. You would require an engineer to design the slab / footings and any retaining walls that you have included. I am using the "Design in Hyne" timnber framing software to prepare the framing design.
Since 2007, I have drafted the plans for more than 90 homes and all of these plans have been approved by the council.
Reasoanable Rates
The average single level home is 250 sq.m. If I prepare plans for your home this size, the cost would be approximately $350 for example.
If you are building a two storey house the cost would be approximately $700 for example.
Plans for Builders
As a builder the QBCC entitles you to design your own house and the plans to submit to council for approval. My service offers computer drafting to prepare a set of tidy and professional plans.
